RALEIGH, N.C.-- A local fundraiser in Raleigh was held Sunday to help orphans thousands of miles away.

The Raleigh-based Frank Adoption Center held a benefit called "For love of a child." 

 

The adoption center is dedicated to helping find kids in the former Soviet Republic loving homes in the United States.

 

The money raised Sunday will go to improving living conditions in orphanages in those countries.
