FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Police are investigating a possible hit and run after finding a man's body along Grady Street.

Fayetteville Police Watch Commander said his department received a call for a body found along Grady Street around 4:30 Thursday morning.
Police found a middle-aged black male lying along the side of the road with head trauma. The man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and transported to UNC Medical Center via Medivac.
The condition of the man is unknown.
Police said they are treating the case as a hit and run but have no descriptions of possible suspects at this time.
