DURHAM, N.C. -- Police officers arrested 14 people on 28 charges during a buy-bust operation on Friday.

The operation targeted areas where commanders had received complaints about street corner drug sales. Officers from all four HEAT squads and the Special Operations Division participated in the operation. The arrests included four documented gang members.

Those arrested include the following:
• Anthony Devon Jones, 29, of Onslow Street was arrested in the 1100 block of Lancaster Street and charged with sale and delivery of a counterfeit controlled substance, impeding traffic and loitering for the sale of a controlled substance
• Miguel Angel Castro, 21, of Hillcrest Drive was arrested in the 1700 block of Hillcrest Drive and charged with sale and delivery of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia
• LaKisha Shanell Jackson, 27, of Junction Road was arrested in the 3500 block of Danube Lane and charged with sale and delivery of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer
• Lynette Marie Paige, 41, of Liberty Street was arrested at the intersection of Dowd and Hazel streets and charged with possession of cocaine
• Derrick Lamont Patterson, 35, of Wake Place was arrested on Wake Place and charged with
possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and possession drug paraphernalia
• Kenneth Devin Patterson, 20, of Cornell Street was arrested on Wake Place and charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and possession drug paraphernalia
• Michael McLaurin, 23, of Dowd Street was arrested on Wake Place and charged with
sale and delivery of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Kip Ramone Morgan, 45, of Gearwood Avenue was arrested in the 1200 block of Gearwood Avenue and charged with possession of cocaine and heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Derrick Lee McKinley, 29, of Commerce Street was arrested in the 700 block of Liberty Street and charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and possession drug paraphernalia
• Trindell Bernard Wilds, 35, of Lincoln Street was arrested in the 700 block of Liberty Street and charged with sale and delivery of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Ronda Lee Johnson, 38, of Garrett Road was arrested in the 700 block of Liberty Street on a failure to appear in court charge
• Rozetta Ann Lynch, 27, of East Main Street was arrested in the 700 block of Liberty Street and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Demuwas Fashawn Green, 26, of Clayton Road was arrested in the 700 block of Liberty Street and charged with breaking and entering and resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer
• Joel Brandon, 26, of Pineland Avenue was arrested at the intersection of Ridgeway Avenue and Wabash Street and charged with possession of a counterfeit controlled substance with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver.
