FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night after he lost control of his bike and ran off the roadway, according to the Fayetteville PD.

Around 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a single vehicle motorcycle crash on Legend Ave. near the intersection of Sycamore Dairy Rd.
The rider died on scene as a result of his injuries. The victim's name hasn't been released pending the notification of the next-of-kin.
