ORANGE COUNTY, N.C.—The OWASA Phone system is working properly now after a fiber optic cable in the system in the system was damaged.

 

 

The phone outage affected the company's customers in the region and Century Tel worked to repair the damaged cable.

 

OWASA was asking water customers to call 911 if they had a water or sewer service emergency.
