APEX, N.C. -- Apex Police are still searching for a man who approached a young boy at a local fast food restaurant.

Sgt. Jacque Gilbert with the Apex Police Department said the young boy was approached in the bathroom of the Chic-Fil-A in the Beaver Creek Commons on the evening of May 5. He asked the boy to come home with him but the child quickly ran out of the bathroom, said Gilbert.
The mother of the victim said the man was a white male age 35-40. He had blonde hair with a military style cut and was about 5 feet 10 inches tall. The man also was seen driving away from the scene in a brown Jeep Wrangler with a soft top.
