RALEIGH, N.C. – The suspect responsible for armed robberies at two Subway restaurants earlier this year may have struck another restaurant Wednesday night, according to Raleigh police.

The suspect entered the Subway at 5410 Six Forks Road around 9:00 p.m. Police say the suspect waited for the last customer to leave before robbing the restaurant. Police say the suspect then fled the scene.

The customer who was in the store just before the robbery was described as a white female with long blonde hair in her thirties. She was apparently driving a newer model silver car. Detectives want to interview the customer and are asking her to come forward by calling (919) 890-3555.

The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties, who is of medium height and build. He was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a hat and sunglasses. Police say his description is similar to those from the two previous Subway cases in January and April.

Anyone with information that might assist the case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (919) 226-CRIME.
