RALEIGH, N.C. -- Chelsea Clinton will return to North Carolina today to visit with students at local universities in the Raleigh and Chapel Hill areas.

After speaking at the Young Democratic Convention in RTP two days ago, Chelsea Clinton and her mother's camp will make stops at three local colleges.

Chelsea is set to speak at 11 a.m. today at N.C. State.

And word on N.C. State's campus that Chelsea Clinton will stop by with a message from her mother is giving many students a sense that their vote is very important in this year's election.

"It's actually really good because a lot of people on this campus are really excited about the election. We're all getting pumped up and people are registering," said Imani Brodie, a student at N.C. State.

"It's great to see candidates going after the young voters, trying to raise issues that we're going to care about. It's very exciting to see the change that's coming about," said Jared Bowman, a student at N.C. State.

Alysha Sheets is one student who's looking forward to the event --- she's an intern with Clinton's campaign.

"I think in the past young voters have been over looked, if not over looked then apathetic. I think it's very clear from the Clinton campaign that they really do care about the young voters and they care about what young people want and need in this next election," she said.

Even though some students said they have no intention of voting for the Democratic hopeful, some said they'd still take the chance to see her daughter in person.

"I think I'm going to show up, I mean my major is political science. It's interesting to see what she has to say, what she's going to do," said Juan Bonnet, a student at N.C. State.

And students will have a chance to determine the topics Chelsea talks about -- Clinton's campaign says it will be a Q and A session on campus Monday.

Some of the issues students said were important to them were the War in Iraq and the economy.

From N.C. State, Chelsea is expected to head to Peace College for a question and answer session with students at 1 p.m. She will make a 3 p.m. visit to "The Pit" at UNC at Chapel Hill.

Pennsylvania is the next battleground for the Democratic presidential candidates, which is Apr. 22. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are campaigning in the delegate-rich state.

Meanwhile Senator John McCain will begin a six-city tour this week that will highlight the time in his life leading up to his service in the Vietnam War. The tour includes stops in Mississippi and Alexandria, Virginia.
