According to Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel Marketplace, a classified guide to travel deals nationwide, The Museum of Life and Science is one of the state’s Top 10 Spring Destinations.

 

One reason for its high honors is being of the location of the museum.  The Museum of Life and Science is in good vicinity of all areas of the triangle and offers free parking.  Between the Magic Wing Butterfly House and an outdoor exhibit expansion, the learning tool offers parents and kids a chance to learn more about the state’s wildlife.

 

Among other top destinations in North Carolina were the Biltmore Estate, Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Lighthouse, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Wright Brothers National Memorial.

 

The list was put together by the North Carolina Department of Commerce Division of Tourism.
