Raleigh Water Users Can Meet With Water Experts Today

RALEIGH, N.C. -- State water resource experts will meet with water users of the Neuse River basin on Monday morning to discuss future water usage plans.

Monday's meeting will launch the N.C. Division of Water Resources' project to create a hydrologic model for studying future water use in the Neuse River Basin.
 
According to a press release from the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the model is used in making decisions about water withdrawals and planning for increased water usage due to growth.
 
The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building, 512 North Salisbury St. in Raleigh.
