WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The CUE Center for Missing Persons and the McKeathan family are requesting the public's help in the search for Michael McKeithan, a North Carolina teen who disappeared Sunday night.
According to CUE, McKeathan has been missing since Sunday May 27, when he made a phone call to his parents shortly after 7 p.m.
"The family is very concerned," said CUE's founder Monica Caison. "It has been over two days and no one has seen or heard from him."
McKeathan is described as a white male, with brown hair and blue eyes, 5'11 weighing 185 lbs. He is clean cut with a light bear and trimmed mustache and wears both black frame glasses and contacts. He drives a two-door 1997 Black "Sun-Fire" Pontiac with the North Carolina tag VPT-3755.
McKeathan was in Durham for the "Anime" convention held May 25-27 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Conference Center. According to CUE, his cell phone was last used on I-40 at the junction of Hwy 6 near Greensboro.
Authorities are requesting that anyone with information about McKeathan's whereabouts contact the Caswell Police Department or the CUE Center for Missing Persons.
